Fixing something basic, and making the fix last.

Go Clean Foundation is a Hyderabad-based non-profit that restores working toilets in government schools — and keeps them working — so children, especially adolescent girls, can stay in school.

Our story

Go Clean Foundation began with a simple, uncomfortable truth: in thousands of government schools, children are held back not by a lack of teachers or textbooks, but by a broken toilet. Girls miss days every month. Some stop coming altogether. We started Go Clean to fix exactly that — and to make sure the fix lasts.

A clean toilet is not a luxury. It is the difference between a child who stays in school and one who doesn’t.
